The need is clear for the short term. We are running on clearTXT alpha which is no longer supported, therefore we need to upgrade. In addition, clearTXT is the only provider of course messaging with deep integration into Blackboard.
In the long term, since NTI Group was purchased by Blackboard, after this year we can evaluate our annual agreement with clearTXT to see if makes sense for us to use Bb's NTI system.
